I had a video chat with a friend in Reno. She started off telling me I was too good to drop myself in with politics.

She was right, and she was right to call me out for it.

I had gone on a political rampage for a day.

I talked truth.

But, I’m better than that. I’m really glad to have a friend who sees as well as I do.

We talked with love though neither of us spoke of love.

We were truthful to each other. I sensed  no deception in her at all. She wasn’t even wearing make up. 

This a friend I knew way back when, in the 80’s. We met in junior high.

Most of the people I have on Facebook, I went to junior high with them and a couple I went to elementary school with.

If I don’t know you, I am a huge pain in the ass.

If I know you, what do you need?

Whatever it is, if I can do it, consider ot done.

I said thank you for the heads slap, thinking of getting a Gibbs head slap. NCIS.

But you know me, I’m a writer and a writer writes what he knows. Their life, if their honest.

They, we might use fiction to tell the truth of who we are, but any writer who does not channel their work, writes their life.
