This started out asd film studio idea I had around ten years ago. What it has grown into is the one idea I have to kickstart a new Renaissance era for humanity.

The idea of sustainability is the evolutionary guiding idea for innovation in thought and action for this age. Art and music are what makes life worth living. You can find some people who will argue that and most of them are dead inside and miserable human beings only wanting to bring the rest down.

Imagine if you will a large complex. Inside this complex is a farm, a hemp field for industrial use, a film studio, a recording studio, a welding shop, glass blowing, and several other facilities for artists for all kinds. They work the land and make art.

There is a strip mall that is the Artist Complex stores and restaurant and art school. There is a large auditorium for concerts and film showings and stage productions and stuff. The artists sell their stuff in the shops and the restaurant is supplied with food they grow and the chefs work the land. There will be one free meal daily for anyone who can’t afford one.

Butte College is a local community college here in Chico, California. There sustainability program is one of the best in the nation. Solar and the Tesla Power Wall are currently in the forefront of my mind for energy. The ideal location would have a natural running creek on the edge of the property for a paddle wheel to generate energy.

The idea is to make this complex as self sustaining as possible while understanding it will be a money drain for 5 years. The lessons learned during those first 5 years is what goes into building the next one and the next one and the next one. As they are built world wide they have a website where anything loaded on the site is covered under one subscription that gets spread evenly among the complexes and the artists contributing content to the site. This is includes but is not limited to film, music, and digital books.

My thinking is at least a 20 year plan before the network is truly self sustained.

The last Renaissance era lasted around 300 years. The 20 years of work into kicking this off could last for 500 or longer.

The flipside of it is to the same thing with science and technology and bridge the gaps by making technology research open source with safeguards and peer reviews on a worldwide transparent level. I have a short list of names for this side of the project that would be the one to over see it and be the QA so to speak to make sure it gets done right.

That first one is my dream and I don’t care how much money anyone puts into it….. I will be a prick and half about somethings as it goes as it flows.
