What’s something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?

It’s ridiculous to lie to children.

Ridiculous means worthy of ridicule.

  1. I’m not sure I agree. All those things add magic and as children grow and mature they know they are fiction. But I never saw it as lying to me and my children never saw it as lying to them. It was all about the magic.

    • Actually when I was 5 I figured out Santa was a lie and my parents lied to me making me not trust they had my best interests at heart.

      It’s the truth.

      I deal in truth.

      Believe me when I say your ridiculous, worthy of ridicule.

      If you think lying is a good thing, your fragmented and I’m coherent.

      Coherence is alignment is balance is truth.

      Fragmentation is misalignment is imbalance is deception.

      • Actually personal is a lie.

        I deal in absolute truth.

        It’s absolutely true that lying to anyone, especially children does more harm to the children.

        Why harm a child?

      • Why, I tell the truth.

        So I never have to apologize.

        And I never have to remember the story I told.

        I write fictional books so everyone is aware it’s a lie because it’s fiction.

        Those who lie to children are some of the worst human being ever.

        I never lied to my son and he is a decent human being because of that.

        I’m sorry you lied to your kids and I’m sorry you’re a sorry excuse for a human being.

        Lying to children is ridiculous, worthy of ridicule.
