What’s a chapter of your life you’d title “The Hard Years” — and what got you through it?
I had a stroke more than 6 years ago. I lost my memory and I lost the ability to speak.
What got me through it?
Will, sheer fucking will.
My memory is back and fully restored. My speech still needs work but it’s getting better.
